Out with the old, in with the New!

Posted: December 31, 2011 in Commentary

Hey everybody!

First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone so much for your support with the idea. I have had many positive responses and lots of very good ideas brought to my attention, and I appreciate your kind words and enthusiasm about this project.

INSTANT CLASSIC is something I have spent years thinking about. After a lot of hesitation, worry, and wonder, I am glad to finally dive in and put the nervous energy into something productive.

We have A LOT of things planned for 2012. In addition to the (4) releases slated to drop in April and the recent partnership with Charley Orlando, we will be actively seeking artists, performers, venues, and other music industry professionals to enhance the footprint of I.C.R/I.C.M./I.C.B. and those we represent.

I encourage you to contact me with any questions, commentary, artists of note, or partnership ideas to help all involved flourish in this ever-changing industry.

To everyone reading this, please have a SAFE and HAPPY New Years Eve. If you are going out partying on the town, please make sure to have a designated driver or contact your local AAA for Tipsy Tow service.

Make it count! “Do something and try!”

I.C.M. proudly welcomes Charley Orlando!

Good day, everybody! Have we all labored over our New Years Resolutions enough at this point? How about listening to more music and going to more shows!

Instant Classic Management is very excited to announce that we will be working with Syracuse, NY recording artist Charley Orlando as he continues his VERY lengthy and successful career in the music industry!

As anyone who has ever had the privilege of meeting him will tell you, Charley is one of the nicest, most sincere people you will ever meet. As an artist, Charley has over 22 years of touring and recording experience under his belt, having shared the stage with the likes of  String Cheese Incident, Umphrey’s McGee, Meatloaf, and even Kid Rock!

Even more impressive, Charley has been nominated on the Grammys Entry Ballot an astounding 28 times! All this while touring relentlessly! Charley continues to bring his vision of peace, love, and happiness through song to the world, and will be hitting the road visiting the Midwest in March.

With over 200 original compositions, 13 albums under his belt, and a brand new album deal (Milieu Records,) Charley has every intention of sharing his positive vibes and organic folk-rock sound with the masses. Make it a point to check out some of his videos, recordings, and social media right HERE.

Great things to come from Mr. Orlando and I.C.M. in the future! Charley, we are very happy to have you with us!

WE HAVE REACHED FULL FUNDING!!!

Posted: December 26, 2011 in News, Releases

We are ecstatic to announce that full funding for The Pietasters, Pilfers, Edna’s Goldfish, and Suburban Legends happened just a few days ago!!!

In early 2012, I.C.R, along with our friends at Asbestos Records and Underground Communique Records, have the honor of putting out (4) legendary releases on vinyl for the first time ever!

Since this is a joint effort, and there will be several records introducing I.C.R. to the world, the release schedule will go as follows:

ICR001a – THE PIETASTERS “OOLOOLOO”

ICR001b – PILFERS S/T

ICR001c – EDNA’S GOLDFISH “BEFORE YOUR KNEW BETTER”

ICR001d – SUBURBAN LEGENDS “RUMPSHAKER”

We will have (25) copies of each of these records, and don’t expect them to last long at all. Our team is working hard to start us up with a bang. Trust us… it’s going to be amazing.

2012 is looking like a banner year already!!!

Hey folks!

Go Big or Go Home!

Hi everyone. We are thrilled to finally be getting started on releasing records after years of contemplation, introspection, anticipation, and total confusion. Sometimes you just have to dive in and do it, and I think we’ve done did it!

We are currently principle backers in a reissue project by Asbestos Records and Underground Communique Records. The titles to be released (if full funding is reached) will include:

The Pietasters “Oolooloo”

The Pilfers “Pilfers”

Edna’s Goldfish “Before You Knew Better”

Suburban Legends “Rumpshaker”

These releases were HUGE in the 90′s Ska movement, and have never been pressed on vinyl before. If you would like to contribute, please visit the Kickstarter page!
